MIABELLE

Mia is a Richmond-based artist whose work explores a combination of realistic, abstract, and flowing elements in detailed acrylic paintings. She is a high school graduate with two years of AP art class experience and numerous art awards throughout her education. In addition to her fine-art paintings, she runs a successful Etsy shop with phone cases featuring her own hand-drawn designs. Mia is currently expanding her portfolio through new paintings and exhibition opportunities.

I paint detailed paintings inspired by my view of animals, nature, and femininity as cohesive subjects. Through my use of complimentary colors and abstract flowing designs, my intention is to connect elements of beauty in life. I see art as a flow state and a constant transfer of loving energy; something that's always reflected in my process as an artist. In return, the unspoken communication between my work and the beholder is always unique and meaningful.
